Mama, they've got fruit punch

Saturday started with an overdue trip to J and J. Very busy. A man who was offering decorative, vintage houswares alerted me to his lack of sales by stating that, "The problem with this place [j and j flea market] is that there's never a male homosexual around when you need one."
I saw about twenty people holding some sort of small dog (throughout the day- at j and j and downtown combined). Half of them were small dogs, and the other half were puppies. We all must need some affection and need to give some, too.
We passed cages full of roosters, or, more appropriately, cocks. They were all different sizes and colors and very attractive despite their ominous crows and threatening spurs.
My fave spot was called "Pop Goes the Culture," a J and J regular offering records, movies, posters and books. Great selection and awesome pricing. I found these "Reese's Pieces presents E.T." stickers crammed next to a book shelf. There are about eight of them, each a different filmic still. Javier got them for a quarter.
I didn't purchase any items from P.G.t.C this week. My chosen buy was found outside, leaning against one of the folding card tables at the rainwater-filled-pond's side: a framed portrait of a piglet sitting in a romantic interior. A little wonky but worth the buck.
